Father Vincent Collier, mother probably Kate Collier from marriage certificate. 

Married James Pedley 28 March 1921

Daughter Mary Pedley born 1925, baptized 2 August 1925. Jessie died shortly after the birth.

Buried in Holywell Green Cemetery, Halifax. Grave Number 35.

Elsie Marion Pedley nee Sugden  5 August 1902 to 6 November 1976

From Elsie’s birth certificate her father was Whitfield Sugden occupation brass moulder.  Her mother was Emma Sugden formerly Furness both of 13 Spring Grove, Halifax.

Started as a pupil at Halifax Council Secondary School in September 1914, left in Summer 1918.

Married James Pedley on 9 June 1926.
The marriage certificate shows Whitfield Sugden was deceased.
It was witnessed by John Furness Sugden.

Stepmother to Mary Pedley, who refers to her as “Mops”.

Son of Edgar and Sarah.
Married Lily Horrocks.
Lived at 155 Leverington Road, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire,
and later moved to Wimborne, Dorset.

Served in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve (RNVR) during World War 2.

Children: Peter and Roger Pedley.
